Teneo Hackathon 2026: Creating our school song
This term, over 130 learners came together across two days to create something truly special. On 25 June, our Grades 7–9 students took the stage, followed by our Grades R–6 on 26 June. Their mission: write the lyrics and star in a brand new Teneo school song celebrating creativity, connection, and House spirit.
From songwriting workshops to digital storytelling and animation, learners collaborated with their peers to bring their House values to life. The energy was electric as students discovered their voices both literally and creatively. They didn't just participate; they created the song, penned the lyrics, and became the heart of the music video.
Every learner who stepped into that Hackathon left their mark on something the entire school will treasure. The result is a celebration of who we are as a school: creative, connected, and proud.
