Teneo International School Fees Policy

School Fees

School fees are payable in advance in the amounts quoted by Teneo from time to time for the relevant level, subject package, programme and school year.

Teneo International School fees may be displayed as annual, termly or monthly amounts. Unless otherwise stated by Teneo, the standard monthly payment plan is payable over 10 monthly instalments. Monthly fees are payable in advance before the first day of the applicable month.

To secure enrolment, the Parent/Guardian must pay the first month’s tuition fee together with the applicable annual registration fee before the Learner’s enrolment is confirmed. Thereafter, billing will take place monthly in advance.

School fees are billed with effect from the first day of the applicable month, regardless of the Learner’s actual enrolment start date in that month, unless Teneo confirms otherwise in writing.

School fees do not include the cost of textbooks, stationery, examination fees, examination-centre fees, internet connectivity, computer equipment, backup power, travel, accommodation or any other third-party costs that may be required.

Registration Fee

A non-refundable annual registration fee per Learner is payable on enrolment and thereafter annually for each year in which the Learner remains enrolled with Teneo International School.

The registration fee is payable together with the first tuition payment and is not deducted from or credited against school fees. The registration fee is not subject to sibling discounts, promotional discounts or any other tuition-fee discounts unless Teneo confirms otherwise in writing.

Monthly Billing

Monthly tuition fees are payable in advance.

Where the standard monthly payment plan applies, annual school fees are collected over 10 monthly instalments. The monthly payment plan is a payment arrangement for the annual tuition fee and should not be interpreted as a separate month-to-month product unless Teneo confirms otherwise in writing.

If any monthly payment is not received by the due date, the account will be treated as overdue and Teneo may apply the late-payment remedies set out below.

Int. GCSE Billing

The Int. GCSE programme is structured as a two-year product.

Annual Int. GCSE fees are billed monthly over the first 10 months for as long as the Learner remains active and enrolled in the programme. A Learner may complete the Int. GCSE level in approximately 18 months, but the programme allows up to two years for completion. Billing continues while the Learner remains active. If the Learner completes the programme earlier and the Parent/Guardian wishes to end enrolment, the standard termination process must be followed.

Discounts

A 5% sibling discount will be applied to school fees where a second or additional sibling is enrolled with Teneo. Where two or more siblings are enrolled with Teneo, the sibling discount will apply only to the school fees of the second and any subsequent siblings.

Other discounts may be offered from time to time for promotional or other reasons. Such discounts may apply only to certain categories of Learners or applicants and may be time-limited. Teneo is not obliged to offer any discount to all Learners or applicants, nor is Teneo obliged to repeat any discount after the expiry of the relevant offer.

Discounts apply only to tuition fees and do not apply to registration fees, examination fees, examination-centre fees, textbooks, third-party costs, late-payment fees, reinstatement fees, collection costs or any other non-tuition charges, unless Teneo confirms otherwise in writing.

Where multiple discounts apply, each subsequent discount is calculated on the net fee after the preceding discount has been applied.

Termination of Enrolment

A Learner’s enrolment may be terminated by submitting the required Termination of Enrolment form or written termination process made available by Teneo.

If the termination request is submitted by the applicable cut-off date in a calendar month, termination will take effect at the end of the month specified in the termination request, provided that Teneo has accepted and processed the request.

If the termination request is submitted after the applicable cut-off date, the earliest termination date will be the end of the following calendar month.

The Parent/Guardian remains responsible for payment of all fees and amounts due up to the effective termination date. No termination will release the Parent/Guardian from fees, arrears, penalties, collection costs or other amounts that became payable before the termination date.

No refund will be given for registration fees or for any unused portion of a month, unless Teneo confirms otherwise in writing.

External Examination Pathway and Examination Fees

Teneo school fees do not include examination fees.

Where a Learner sits International GCSE, International AS Level or International A Level examinations, any examination-related fees are payable separately to the relevant external examination centre, examination board or third-party provider, unless Teneo confirms otherwise in writing.

These fees may include examination board fees, subject entry fees, centre registration fees, venue or invigilation fees, administration fees, courier fees, access-arrangement fees, late-entry fees, amendment fees, post-results service fees, travel costs and accommodation costs.

Teneo may provide general guidance on the external examination pathway, but the Parent/Guardian remains responsible for confirming the examination centre, completing registration, meeting deadlines, paying all examination-related fees and ensuring that the Learner attends the examination.

If examination registration is not completed, or the required examination fees are not paid by the applicable deadline, the Learner may be unable to sit the examination in that examination session.

Results and certificates are issued by the relevant examination board and/or examination centre, not by Teneo.

Late Payments, Penalties and Suspension

All fees are payable by the applicable due date.

If any amount is not paid on or before the due date, Teneo may, to the extent permitted by applicable law and the Teneo Terms and Conditions:

  • charge a late-payment fee;
  • charge interest on overdue amounts;
  • charge a reinstatement fee if access is suspended and later restored;
  • recover collection costs, legal costs or administrative costs incurred in recovering overdue amounts;
  • suspend the Learner’s access to Teneo’s learning platform, classes, teacher support, assessments, reports, communication channels or other services;
  • withhold progress reports, transfer documents or other administrative services while the account is overdue; and/or
  • terminate enrolment where non-payment continues or constitutes a material breach.

Suspension of access does not cancel the Parent/Guardian’s obligation to pay overdue fees or any fees that continue to accrue while the Learner remains enrolled. Access may be reinstated only once all overdue amounts, penalties, reinstatement fees and other applicable charges have been paid, unless Teneo agrees otherwise in writing.

General

This Fees Policy is subject to Teneo’s Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between this Fees Policy and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions will prevail.

Teneo may update this Fees Policy from time to time. The latest version published by Teneo or communicated to Parents/Guardians will apply.
